Meet the Leadership Team
We maintain a carefully-selected network of over 300 military and law enforcement personnel. Here are our fearless leaders

Executive Director
Troy Burleson
Chief Troy Burleson has been in law enforcement (on and off) since 1988. He has practiced martial arts for over 45 years and holds a 9th degree Grand Master in Taekwondo. Since 2005, Troy and his team Men In Black have provided security and stability to hurricane-ravaged areas. His team has worked over 20 disasters. He has also served as mayor, police chief, and pastor for his local community. He owns a training facility in Lead Hill, Arkansas where he and his instructors teach tactical and martial skills. He has dedicated his life to helping and teaching others, and has channeled his energy into rescue missions in disaster-stricken areas. His love of humanity, his faith in God and his desire to help others has guided him to undertake challenging and sometimes dangerous missions. He loves every minute of it. Fortunately for him, he is married to a very understanding woman and has two amazing children, whom both help in the hurricane work.

Director of Operations
Glenn Redding
Captain Redding retired from Harrison Police Department after 20 years of service on the force where he specialized in criminal investigations. He was also a top instructor for law enforcement personnel, and he supervised large teams of police. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with Arkansas Tobacco Control. He and Troy have been the driving force behind Men In Black hurricane security since the company's inception in 2005.
Glenn first met Troy when Troy was performing a citizens’ arrest of a kidnapper whom he had tracked down at a gas station. Troy went searching for the missing girl, and located her and the kidnapper. Officer Redding was called to the scene and walked in with Troy holding a gun to the kidnapper's head. A decades-long friendship was born.
Glenn, with his deep contacts among the military and law enforcement community, has the unique ability of sourcing top-tier talent for security work. At times, he has sourced over 400 personnel for a single hurricane. He also manages the teams and coordinates them. Glenn lives in Arkansas and can be found enjoying the outdoors with his loved ones.

Operations Manager
Suzette Howerton
Suzette has over 25 years of experience in administrative, human resources, and payroll management.

To this day, she holds a black belt and has been working with Troy managing the MiB Security business for decades. She organizes teams of personnel to deploy to each mission. Suzette also manages payroll, bookkeeping, event planning and anything else that needs to be done. She is capable of pivoting on a dime, she is flexible, determined and creative. She also is highly organized.
She has raised five children, all of whom have at least their first level of black belt in Taekwondo. Suzette lives in Green Forest, Arkansas.
